Our passion started decades ago when our founder Mark was fed up with cheap coolers failing on long backpacking trips. After too much spoiled food and wasted money on replacements, Mark decided to take matters into his own hands.
Leveraging his mechanical engineering background, Mark began developing cooler prototypes in his garage built to his own ultra-demanding standards. After years of testing and refinement, Moosejaw Cooler was born.
Today our focus remains on creating coolers engineered for real-world extremes. We use extra thick pressure-injected insulation and rotomolded construction to keep ice frozen 5-7 days, even in intense heat. Yes, we sell replacement handles, lid hinges, latches, and hardware on our website. Our 5 year warranty also covers free replacement parts due to any manufacturing defects.
Rinse with soap and water after each trip. For a deeper clean, use a mild detergent, rinse well and let air dry with lid open. Do not use harsh chemicals. Apply marine UV protectant to the outer shell to prevent sun damage.
